About Pitch Ethiopia Pitch Ethiopia is an inaugural startup pitch and demo event where we give selected Ethiopian and Ethiopia focused startups a chance to pitch to top tier investors, customers, and government partners. The purpose is to provide the participating startups with world-class feedback, prizes, and potential investment. We will bring together global investors, founders, and startup enthusiasts to witness the future of Ethiopia.
The 2019 edition of Pitch Ethiopia will comprise of the following elements:
The Main Stage – As a follow on to the activities of the 2019 edition of Africa Fintech Summit, 10 startup finalists will get five minutes to pitch and demonstrate their products to the general audience and an expert panel of judges for feedback and queries. The EthioTech Enabler Series – Through a combination of keynotes, panels and fireside chats, the EthioTech Enabler Series will enable productive dialogue between startups and innovation actors about the future of the Ethiopian technology ecosystem. The Pitch Ethiopia Awards – The grand prize winner will secure a spot in the Startup World Cup 2020 in partnership with Pegasus Ventures.
