LIONS@FRICA is an innovative partnership with initiatives that support public and private sector organizations, investors and financial institutions, non-profit organizations and academia, and new and experienced technology entrepreneurs.

Innovation, Investment & Internationalization

As Africa’s population becomes increasingly educated and affluent, the global business community is looking to capitalize on this increase in human and financial resources. Our initiatives are geared towards empowering the next generation of African entrepreneurs with global tools and resources to engage this wave of opportunities. The LIONS@FRICA partnership also benefits from a variety of Supporting Partners that help to further our goal to deepen Africa’s innovation ecosystem.

DEMO Africa

Through the annual DEMO Africa event, we engage a Pan African community of startups and young innovators and expose them to a network of venture creation resources from the continent to Silicon Valley. >>>>>>>>

Africoderdojo

Africoderdojo represents a network of free, volunteer-led, programming clubs for young people. Currently in 15 cities, anyone can visit a Dojo where they can learn to explore technology in a creative environment. >>>>>>>>

Hollywood in Focus

In partnership with Studio School, we created HOLLYWOOD IN FOCUS, an innovative mentoring initiative connecting African media entrepreneurs leading U.S. entertainment professionals to increase business opportunities. >>>>>>>>

Supporting the Ecosystem

We provide technical assistance programs for innovative African startups, and support the development of local and international innovation stakeholders that form an integral network of ecosystem influencers with active interests in African entrepreneurs. Our initiatives also leverage inclusive partner expansion models with sustainable activities at the core, and focus on supporting ecosystem building through engagement, facilitation, and collaboration.
